I highly recommend Holiday Hiking Team
I ran into Hari, the E.D. of Holiday Hiking Team on accident when I got lost in Patan, Kathmandu and asked him for directions. He was such a nice guy and gave me directions without any hassle. He gave me his card and said that if I wanted a guide to let him know. Zero pressure, zero hard sell, he was polite and non-abrasive. Because of his nice attitude, I hired him to take me around Kathmandu because I only had 1 day to see as much as possible (I'm in Nepal for work). Hari set up a route of six awesome locations and charged me an incredibly reasonable price. He did an amazing job of teaching me about the history, religion, and culture of Nepal and Kathmandu. I definitely would NOT have gotten that kind of information from my Lonely Planet. He also answered my many many questions without any problem. Honestly, I will very likely call him up again on my next trip to Nepal. Definitely call Hari for all of your tour and trekking needs.

Amazing tour guide in Katmandu
Hari was the most knowledgeable guide. He knew everything about Katmandu, every temple, every aspect of culture, history, religion and the people. More than that he was very flexible and I covered more of the city than I thought possible. He was well educated, articulate and easy to understand. Add to that he was friendly, honest and an all round top bloke and he even was generous enough to invite me to a meal afterwards. I only wish I could have done my trek with him as well.

We’ve taken a multi-day city tour with holiday hiking team. The mix of local culture, history and food was exceptional. Everything was arranged to perfection, staff was on time and very well informed. We feel we’ve seen the real Nepal!

Discovering Kathmandu
We took an amazing trip through all Kathmandu visiting most of its temples and monuments, and receiving amazing explanations about them, making it easier for us to understand the culture and background of the city, Buddhism and Hinduism, and solving all the questions we may had perfectly.
